The Feed 500k Project is the collaborative effort of a group of concerned business leaders to confront the worst hunger crisis in history. As of June 1, 2008, estimates are that only 1/3 of the world's population is well-fed; 1/3 are underfed; and 1/3 are starving. Every day, almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes--one child every five seconds.
